Every good plan is built on a solid foundation. We believe this is true of the Student Life Bible Study curriculum.

Before the first word was written for the first lesson, our publishing team carefully compiled a list of eight statements that would serve as both the launching pad and the standard of measure for Student Life Bible Study.

From all that is said in the Bible about who God is and the purpose He has for His people, we have drawn these 8 Essential Truths. We believe that they accurately reflect the complete picture of God as presented in His Word. As such, they are the basis for creating a complete Bible study with a unique program.

We call them essential because they convey beliefs that are vital, crucial and fundamental to every person’s spiritual growth. We believe that if God has said it, that makes it worth listening to.

We call them truths because they convey beliefs that are without flaw or failure, having never been proven wrong throughout all time. We believe that if God has said it, then it is factual, accurate and forever trustworthy.

While these 8 Essential Truths exist as the beginning of Student Life Bible Study, they are also continually checked against every lesson to ensure that what students are learning is always reflected in Scripture.
